Description
ITS CALLED A WOBBIT. ITS A WOLF RABBIT HYBRID AND IT IS MAGICAL AND HAS GLOWING MARKINGS AND CAN TURN INTO A PHUMAN OR A GIANT EVIL MONSTER. THEY HAVE MAGIC POWERZ OVER ELEMENTS AND STUFF.
IT IS ORIGINAL MEANING MINE U CANT MAKE ONE CUZ NOBODY ELSE COULD COME UP WITH IT.

ANYWAY. I have noticed a lot of "original species" here on dA are just a hybrid of two other animals. And yet they all somehow have markings not found on either species in the mix, that are brightly colored and unnatural. Nothing against brightly colored animals, They are fun sometimes. Some colors look really pretty together. I just don't get why every original species people make have to have these bright colors. There's no explanation behind why or how.
Oh, and they are often part wolf! As if wolves weren't already overdone to ruining a beautiful animal to a lot of people.
%95 percent of the time these "original species" have a human form, and most of them have like... 5 other forms as well.
They also always seem to have some sort of magical power.
Not only that, but sometimes the people who made this hybrid wanting to be an original species have a bawwfest and cry "Thief!" just because somebody else has a creature that just happened to have both species from their oh-so-original hybrid.
Original species are awesome. And it's hard to make a creature that isn't somehow reminiscent of an actual or mythical animal. Because these are animals that people know, and these methods of movement for these animals just work - thus, they can come out looking vaguely dog-like, or lionlike, or wolflike. Or something...
A good example is my Gryphoptera. It's somewhat like an insectoid gryphon - but I wasn't intending to make a sort of hybrid. It was just something I created, and a friend suggested the name. Though it is mothlike, and griffin-like, it is still original enough to call my own.
Anyway, little snark/rant over xD
.. Though if you actually want to make a wolf rabbit hybrid, go ahead. I don't care. xD This was just drawn as a parody.
I might even sell the design as an adoptable if somebody actually wants it xD

haha yeah. idk about original species. i think its more the story behind it than the design itself as some people who make them say. but even then, sometime it DOES seem like the whole design is linked to them from then on, especially if they are popular. like the species tailmouth. now it seems every tail that could have a mouth on it is tail mouth now? makes me hesitant to make a design with a mouth on the tail now XD you know? or bunny what have you's with hands for ears. i was a bit saddened when i came across that one, because i was planning on making one before i was aware there was an 'original species' designed like that already. its not like i want to rip off anyone, but it makes me extremely hesitant. everything as already been done before anyways. idk if half the stuff i said makes any sense, sorry xD
